You may think that you have heard every version of every Led Zeppelin song. If you thought that you would be wrong. No matter how much you like or what your opinions towards Led Zeppelin are, it’s undeniable that you’ve at the very least heard the group’s music a number of times during your life. But have you really heard all of the material Led Zeppelin has in the catalog? We bet there’s at least one you haven’t heard yet.
Previously unreleased Led Zeppelin tune La La hits the streets.
The legendary rock band created a sound that to this day in entirely unescapable. Once you hear a few notes you can usually identify the Led Zep sound. However, we guarantee that none of you readers are familiar with the Led Zeppelin track “La La”.
Why are we so sure? Because the track has never been released to the public until very, very recently. Available only for the first time through the reissue of Led Zeppelin II, the track has been put up on Soundcloud for a brief period of time. You can check out the embed below, but be warned that when the album is officially released, the track will be removed so you better be quick.
Sonically, it’s a very bluesy, organ based tune that’s quite pleasant to the ear. However, it doesn’t particularly strike one’s ear as a Zeppelin style track even if their style is rooted in blues, which is probably why the song slipped under the carpet. However, fans of the band are surely glad to see it’s release and get a chance to see yet another piece of this iconic band’s history come to light.
